Mood Altering Dough
Ingredients:
1 cup bleached white flour
1/2 cup salt (Regular table salt. Fine textured salt gives dough a beautifully feel)
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
Sensory Additions: Color: Holi Color packets (a playful experience of integration producing vivid dough).Sparkle: fine grain glitter. Scent Suggestions: sweet orange, spruce, lavender, rose and bergamot
Process: Mix ingredients in a pot on the stove, heat and stir consistently on medium-low around 8 minutes. Dough should ball up and no longer be gluey. Remove from heat and cool. Make a ball. Using your fingers create a small hole/nest at the top. Spoon in Holi powder, pinch nest closed and in knead in. Repeat till desired richness of color. Repeat process with the glitter and essential oils (taking care not to add too much oil - dough can become runny). Store in airtight containers in fridge - keeps for months - ENJOY
